Lovers of margaritas and Mexican food have something to celebrate this week. Popular San Antonio restaurant La Fogata has opened a third location called La Fogata Cantina on Austin Highway near Alamo Heights.

La Fogata Cantina has taken over Nosh’s former home, which occupied the floor below Silo Alamo Heights. Both properties closed at the start of the pandemic. Patrick Richardson, owner of Silo and La Fogata, said he hopes to reopen Silo later this month or early February.

The new location of La Fogata can accommodate 150 guests inside and another 100 outside in a large patio. Richardson said the restaurant will serve the same core menu of Mexican fare and margaritas as La Fogata’s existing properties on Vance Jackson Road and in the Dominion Ridge Mall.

La Fogata Cantina, 1133 Austin Highway, 210-824-7456, lafogata.com, Facebook: @lafogata. Hours: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday to Sunday
