Looks like Pepsi with Coca-Cola from Taco Bell is coming to Huntsville.
Del Taco plans to add six new locations in northern Alabama, according to a press release. Currently, Phenix City is the California-based Mexican food chain’s only location in the state. Sam Abusaleem, whose previous ownership experience includes Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, is the planned Del Tacos franchisee in the Huntsville area.
“My goal,” Abusaleem says in a statement, “has been to bring a fresh, high-quality, laid-back concept to residents of northern Alabama and Del Taco is just that. I have worked in the retail and foodservice industry for over 30 years and look forward to growing my portfolio with such a respected brand that believes in the same dedication to its customers and employees as I do.
