Bibi’s Enchiladas & Grill, a popular Sacramento food truck, is opening its first brick-and-mortar store on Saturday, the company announced on Instagram Thursday.
“Many months of hurdles but, good things take time,” the company wrote in the post. The company has been teasing the official opening of the storefront on Instagram for months.
The storefront, at 2220 Gold Springs Court, Suite #102 in Gold River, will continue to sell its food truck fares.
The owners were not immediately available for comment.
Known for its crispy tacos, the Mexican restaurant also sells quesabirria tacos, street tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and other Mexican street food.
In April, the small food truck announced its new location at 3084 Sunrise Boulevard in Rancho Cordova, opening at noon and closing whenever the food ran out, which sometimes took a few hours.
Most recently, the food truck was parked at 8810 Calvine Road in South Sacramento.
Over the years, the food truck company has also grown its Instagram account, where it highlights menu items and shares the truck’s schedule. The page now has around 28,000 followers.
The grand opening of its storefront on Saturday takes place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
“Thank you to all of our day one customers and the new ones we’ve gained along this journey,” Bibi wrote on Instagram. “This one’s for Sacramento, Ca!”
